Bill Hicks once said, "Any performer that ever sells a product on TV, is for now and all eternity removed from the artistic world." Iggy Pop has to be the last person on earth that you would buy a used car from right? So how come the Swift Cover insurance company thought, he was the man for the job and more importantly why oh why did he think he was their man? Do you think Leonard Cohen hasn't been offered advertising work? But when Leonard has a cash flow issue, he does the decent thing and plays some of the best live shows the world has ever seen. At least David Bowie tries to hide his dodgy ads in Japan, click here and tick him off your list, it's not like he's made a made decent record for 20 years anyway... meeeow
