One of the more fascinating members of our colourful local community is the woman we call The Knitter. She can be spotted often somewhere between here and Chalk Farm, and she always carries her own plastic chair to sit on. She wears the most insane brightly coloured outfits that appear to be hand knitted by her good self.
She is currently rocking an orange skirt and purple hat. Unlike a number of the other local 'characters' she never causes any grief or asks you for any change, she just wants to knit, in public, in Camden Town. We're thinking of asking her if she could knock up a Sly Stone type 70's tifter, but we're too scared.
See The Knitter here.
Ted keeping it local. |

SWEET BILLY PILGRIM

Their music has been described as achingly beautiful, and any band that lists Robert Wyatt, David Sylvian, Wu-Tang Clan, Four Tet and Nick Cave as influences deserves you attention, and some of your hard earned cash.
