So did you crawl at the weekend? Did you catch Madness on top of a London bus? Did you queue patiently in the warm evening sunshine to see Yeah Yeah Yeahs deliver the kind of live set that makes you go, 'hell yeah'? Did you see The Whip play the last song of their set at KOKO like their lives depended on dishing out good vibes to everyone in the house? Did you see Echo and Bunnymen clock on with a timeless set of crowd pleasing big tunes? Did it feel like for two days Camden had turned into Glastonbury? Did you have trouble booking a hotel ? Did you then have 'issues' locating said hotel? Did you by any chance catch a couple of posh boys from the band S.C.U.M. smashing up one of our dressing rooms, even though they wern't playing here? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then congratulations, you were one of the many thousands that made this year's Camden Crawl the best ever. Roll on the next one.
Ted, crawling from the wreckage... |
