Noel announces first solo gigs

Noel Gallagher has announced his first post-Oasis solo gigs this March in support for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The trust put on annual concerts in the Royal Albert Hall in London to help promote awareness and raise funds for the charity. Roger Daltrey of The Who is the patron responsible for bringing acts like Kasabian, Florence and the Machine and Muse to help gain support for the cause.

Joining Noel will be acts like Arctic Monkeys, Them Crooked Vultures and a reformed Suede who will all be performing from February 17th onwards.

Rumored to be Noel’s only live dates in 2010 as he plans to “take a bit of time out” from the music scene. He is due to play on March 25th & 26th.

Speaking in an interview with ESPN, Gallagher confirmed that his sets would feature “all the golden oldies” plus a few new suprises that he has ben working on.
