Lovefoxxx to rock Singapore
Date:13 March 2009
By Johnny Mayo

Home Club has gone and done it again. Following on from the big captures of Hot Chip and Kele from Bloc Party to adorn the wheels of steel, the boys in Singapore have raised the bar that little bit higher with none other than Luísa Hanaê Matsushita. Who the f**k is that I hear you ask? None other than the heart breaking, beat making Lovefoxxx from CSS. That’s f**king who.
Lovefoxxx, the darling of the indie synth pop scene is flying into Singapore for a performance assured to rock Home Club to its very foundations. Not content with just making eminent tunes through her Brazilian based outfit such as Lets Make Love And Listen To Death From Above and Music Is My Hot Hot Sex, Lovefoxxx & Co have also been busy remixing everything from Kings of Leon to Lilly Allen and back again.
The half German, half Japanese and all round indie electro icon is currently engaged (sorry to disappoint guys) to her beau Simon Taylor-Davis from the Klaxons who is at this time preparing for performances at Bestival on the Isle of Wight and Summersonic in Tokyo and Osaka later this year.
With the LA Riots already confirmed for a session in Home Club on April 11th, all eyes are now on the premier indie night in Singapore to see just what else they have up their sleeve in 2009, but one thing’s for certain, it’s going to be big, and it’s going to get handicapped.
Lovefoxxx will be spinning alongside the BEAT! team, Ginette Chittick, Joe Ng and Home residents DJR, Ming & Loopinmotion.
