Grass Roots

Officially kicking off this Wednesday 10th February, KOKO Asia is happy to announce the launch of its regular, lo-fi feeder night ‘Grass Roots’ at Palate Palette.

Featuring your indie rock prophets Common People (AUS) and sl4ck (UK) who will be bringing you hours of the biggest indie anthems so cutting edge that the decks could be adorned by ninja’s (not that you would see them).

Featuring the biggest and best tracks from the likes of:

The Killers, Artic Monkeys, RHCP, BLOC Party, MGMT, The Fratellis, LCD, Jet, Modest Mouse, Kasabian, The Wombats, Kaiser Chiefs, Libertines, Couple, Maximo Park, The Kooks, Baby Shambles, The Strokes, YYY's, The Frames, Blur, The Stone Roses, Franz Ferninand, The Cure, Hot Chip, The White Stripes, The Pigeon Detectives, The Strokes, They Will Kill Us All, Muse, Kings of Leon, Oasis, CSS, Radiohead, Belle&Sebastian, Hot Hot Heat, Foo Fighters, Hopeless Romantic Project, The Kooks, Athlete, Rolling Stones, Ramones, Bravery, Interpol, Hendrix and shitloads more....

The night will be held every two weeks at the eloquent chic gem of Bukit Bintang - Palate Palette! Space is limited and a indie mash up is in high demand so come early to avoid disappointment.

Also, we are looking for stereoheads who have a passion for promotion to help kick off the night. No prior experience is required, but individuals with lascivious lust for music are preferred.
